About this game: SUN KEY 1989
Take the Sun Key, then outrun the ruins across the sky.
Dr Elias Vale takes the Sun Key out of the mechanism it was part of, and the route out is an ancient civilisation built across the peaks above the cloud sea: terraces with their edges gone, a bridge over nothing, an aqueduct still pouring into the clouds, a gate between two mountains. Four inputs, eleven regions, and a route generated as you run it and proved runnable before it ships. The edges are real. Miss a jump and you fall, and you get three chances to go back to the last safe stretch. There is a new route every day and everybody gets the same one.

Before you play
How do I lose a run?
By falling off the ruins or into a void. You have three retries a run; each one puts you back on the stretch before the fall, and the fourth fall ends the run.
What is the Sun Key for?
It is what Dr Vale took and what the ruins want back. Keys and coins along the route add to the score, and the distance you cover is the record that goes on the board.
Does the route change?
Every run is generated as you run it. The daily route uses one seed for everyone for twenty four hours, so the daily board compares the same road.
